Stronger Collaboration Needed for Liberia's Wildlife Conservation - Hope for Nature Kids' ED Sends Clarion Call

Ahead of World Wildlife Day celebrations in Monrovia, Madam Harnon S. Whymah-Garbo, Executive Director of Hope for Nature, is calling for increased awareness and collaboration in Liberia's wildlife governance.

This year, World Wildlife Day's theme, "Medicinal and Aromatic Plants: Conserving Health, Heritage, and Livelihoods," emphasizes the essential role of wild plants in human survival and cultural identity.

Speaking on Thursday, Madam Whymah-Garbo emphasized that wildlife is an integral part of Liberia's natural environment and must be treated with care and respect.

"Wildlife is part of our natural environment and must be treated well," Whymah-Garbo cautioned, warning that mistreatment could endanger species' lives.

The Executive Director's statement is part of ongoing efforts by Hope for Nature Kids towards conservation reforms in Liberia.
